Martour

Birthday, creative space, and cellar

The celebration began at the Maribor Pottery Center on Mlinska Street, where the group created their first clay pieces in a relaxed atmosphere. Snacks, sparkling wine, tea, and coffee made for a lovely start to the day, with lots of laughter and beautiful creations that remain as souvenirs. The creative work was followed by lunch at Restaurant 7, where a four-course tasting menu rounded off the morning nicely and provided energy for the rest of the day.

After lunch, I joined the group at the restaurant, where we had a brief introduction and then set off on a guided walk towards the city center. The rhythm of the conversation was punctuated by short stops and stories, so that the transition between points remained comfortable and warm. In the late afternoon, the program reached its climax in the Vinag cellar. The guided tour revealed the tunnels and archives, and the tasting of five local wines with appetizers allowed for relaxed socializing, which could be extended into the evening if desired.
